Principal functions:
The Tax Associate position in our Tax Services department is primarily responsible for performing tax compliance, planning and advocacy procedures and assignments on engagements under the supervision of more experienced staff.
The position entail assisting with the provision of tax advice and technical research on tax and related legislation, along with performing and reviewing Corporate Tax, VAT and other tax related computations; liaising with clients in respect of the provision of tax services; and liaising with the relevant statutory agencies, amongst others.
You will also be required to become familiar and develop expertise in relation to tax legislation, treaties, computation and calculations, review of tax assessments, filing of returns and other tax related matters that would be assigned from time to time.

- Familiarization and development of a sound working knowledge of the Government’s Inland Revenue Department tax systems.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Interest in pursuing a professional accounting designation such as ACCA.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and simultaneous projects.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Prior relevant experience is an asset but not required
- ·Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites, locally and abroad.
